LET THE WORK I’VE DONE SPEAK FOR ME
January 17–February 14, 2026
Press Release / Images

LET THE WORK I’VE DONE is anchored by two interrelated bodies of work. The first, Pauline (2023), comprises twenty-one collaged silver gelatin prints made from archival family photos, flowers, and personal objects. Meant to be presented in sequence, these images form a dynamic, layered portrait of Ireland’s maternal grandmother. For the first time in Los Angeles, the project is exhibited in full, as it was conceived.
The exhibition also includes a selection of contact prints made from Ireland’s paternal grandmother’s extensive collection of funeral programs. Entitled Celebration of Life (2025), this ongoing body of work meditates on death and grief in volume.
